The PopKong plugin for Confluence is a suite of butt kickin' tools for wiki ninjas. Now in development, the plugin is scheduled for general release at the Atlassian Summit
, May 31 - June 2, 2009. Our goal is to provide practical and high quality macros that help you improve user experience and adoption for your wiki. We're interested in hearing your ideas so that we can refine the plugin to help you achieve your goals. If you are interested in being an early beta tester, we've already got a few great features for you to try today.
The {pop-tab-extras} macro
Displays comments, attachments, child pages, and labels in a visually appealing tab widget. The widget creates a stronger visual separation from the main content of your wiki page, it saves screen real-estate, and it makes page attachments easier to find.

The {pop-menu} macro
Creates a horizontal drop-down menu of wiki pages. You can define a hierarchical menu using simple wiki syntax for ordered lists or you can allow the menu to generate dynamically from the pages in a space.

The {pop-away} macro
Make your wiki look more like a customer-facing dot-com site! the pop-away macro allows you to selectively remove certain elements from pages so that your pages do not always look like wiki pages.
The {pop-layout} macro
Allows you to force value-added content into columns to the east or west side of your main content. No theme modifications are required! Simply place the macro on a page and fill it with visually rich panel content or auxiliary features like tag-clouds. It's a great way to make your pages more visually appealing, and to focus and inform your users on related content.

Join us at the Atlassian Summit to see all the features of the plugin or become an early beta tester now to influence the plugin with features you really need.
We have room for a few more qualified test customers. As an early tester, you'll get all the features of the suite before the general release for free! We can't accept everyone, so if you are interested [contact us] as soon as possible. Just let us know a little bit about yourself and your wiki, how long it has been live, and how many users you have.
