A collection of Semantic Web APIs and code libraries for developers.

Berlin SPARQL Benchmark (BSBM)
Defines a suite of benchmarks for comparing the performance of storage systems that expose SPARQL endpoints via the SPARQL protocol.

Jena Semantic Web Framework
A Java framework for building Semantic Web applications. It provides a programmatic environment for RDF, RDFS and OWL, SPARQL and includes a rule-based inference engine. Jena is open source and grown out of work with the HP Labs Semantic Web Programme.

KEA
KEA is an algorithm for extracting keyphrases from text documents. It can be either used for free indexing or for indexing with a controlled vocabulary.

OpenCalais
A rapidly growing toolkit of capabilities that allow you to readily incorporate state-of-the-art semantic functionality within your blog, content management system, website or application.

The OpenCalais Web Service automatically creates rich semantic metadata for the content you submit – in well under a second. Using natural language processing (NLP), machine learning and other methods, Calais analyzes your document and finds the entities within it. But, Calais goes well beyond classic entity identification and returns the facts and events hidden within your text as well.

The tags are delivered to you; you can then incorporate them into other applications - for search, news aggregation, blogs, catalogs, you name it.

Open Anzo
Open source enterprise-featured RDF quad store and a sophisticated service oriented, semantic middleware platform that provides support for multiple users, distributed clients, offline work, real-time notification, named-graph modularization, versioning, access controls, and transactions.

Orboro
Oroboro is a lightweight Java RDF processing framework developed with simplicity of use in mind and a minimalist attitude. Its design focuses on conversion and data integration tasks involving moderate datasets and targets common use cases while trying to remain as flexible as possible.

OWL API
The OWL API is a Java interface and implementation for the W3C Web Ontology Language OWL. Unlike Jena, this API deals with OWL only and does not mix alot of RDF constructs. This API is structured in a way that can teach you a lot about OWL by using it.

Redland RDF Libraries
A set of free software C libraries that provide support for the Resource Description Framework (RDF).

S-Match
A semantic matching framework, which provides several semantic matching algorithms and facilities for developing new ones. S-Match was heavily used inside KnowDive group for several years to conduct experiments in semantic matching. The goal of this project is to make S-Match available for the community by releasing it under a permissive open source license.

Triplify
Triplify provides a building block for the "semantification" of Web applications. It is a small plugin for Web apps, which reveals the semantic structures encoded in relational databases by making database content available as RDF, JSON or Linked Data

Yebol API
A web-based REST API for the Yebol "Knowledge Based (Smart) Search" engine.

Weka 3:
Data Mining Software in Java; Weka is a collection of machine learning algorithms for data mining tasks. The algorithms can either be applied directly to a dataset or called from your own Java code. Weka contains tools for data pre-processing, classification, regression, clustering, association rules, and visualization. It is also well-suited for developing new machine learning schemes. Weka is open source software issued under the GNU General Public License.
